there no place like home

I keep on seeing things about home and it makes me think of my own home

and how I'll miss it when the day I have to leave it happens

I will miss the crossing and all the establishments that makes up the place

the highway and the flyover and the way the sidewalks are so busy at twilight

the bus stop and the fishball stand and the way the whole place lights up at night

And yes it is no Manila at all but I love every single detail of it

the way it gets livelier as Christmas approach nearer and nearer

or the way I could name every single establishment on it

or just the feeling of the wind that could get hot or cold

the way you could see the clear blue skies in the day and see the stars at night

and just the way it just feels like home

And no matter where I go --- be it on the other side of the world, or in the City,

I wouldn't change it for the world.

For it holds my dear memories, be it the sad moments or the angry ones or the sunshine-y ones

or the times I eat my favorite streetfood on the way home and walking with someone I like

or simply just walking to unwind

I won't change it. My home home home.

The Girl I Know Pt 7/?

And this would be her mantra until one day in June, no maybe July, ugh August to September--- she doesn't know anymore because she didn't know when did it started to change but it is definitely changing and its creeping her out. And at the end of September she doesn't know what to define those weird feelings are anymore.

Two weeks after the scenario at the dance practice the actual performance day happened and the week before that the girl discovered how that guy was so ridiculously good at almost everything he do, hence calling him the jack of all trades, as the girl would describe it. The weekend following the dance performance the girl and the little guy would have a picture together (along with the handsome guy with the curly hair and the intelligent guy, much to the girl's delight) and would turn out to be friends with a little help of this little friendly girl (which the little guy likes) by the end of the school year. At April they would start texting each other and by May the little guy, along with the girl with the glasses, the little friendly girl, and the soon-to-be Architecture student would be joining the girl on celebrating her birthday.

By June the girl and her friends would notice how the little guy starts to grow taller and taller and it would leave them surprised (sort of)

By October, out of sheer confusion and frustration she had asked the Heavens Above for a sign, that if she's still feeling the same set of emotions by November it is definitely the thing, which the girl was terrified of happening. No it couldn't be, no no no.

And a week or two after asking the sign to the Heavens Above she'll know what the thing is by some sick game of Truth of Dare.

It is. 
Fucking hell.

And said thing was love. The fucking thing that she's feeling was love.

And the whole realization hurts.

The Girl I Know Pt 6/?

And so the practice for said fair had started and it took all of the girls (and her classmates) strength to the point of the girl getting ill and so tired at the end of the day she could fall asleep sitting. And a whole week was spent into said practices until one Saturday they decided to go into a place far from her house and is near the city hall/ flea market.

The practice area was on a wide open place with no roof (with the trees being the immediate shade you'll get) hence making the late morning/noontime heat even unbearable and no chairs to sit on (only the bricks under the trees), then add the new steps and it became atrocious.

Throughout the afternoon, as they get the new steps and all the jazz the instructor told the girls to rest and they watched the boys danced for their lives (its an exaggeration but well)

And then the girl noticed the way the little guy who looks like 12 dance and well.... shit

Said guy was so good at dancing it was ridiculous

ridiculously good.

He was so good at it the girl ended up slightly cheering for him and gush about how great it is. It continued until they're about to go home and she ended up looking for the little guy that leads to her small friend's response of "ow you have a crush on him, eh?"

To which the girl vehemently disagreed (because she's just... not)

The Girl I Know Pt 5/?

And as the new semester comes, more changes went into the girls life.

and a certain event would change her feelings forever.

November 2011

 And so the second semester came and at the beginning its just an alright semester, as the girl was into school work and those four British guys with moptops and attractive faves and voices. That time she was seething over a friend of hers for lying at her. She doesn't find any other attractive or intelligent guys at this time as she would thought: "Nah they're brash or not good" or any other diminutives along those words. She spend most of her time with her new friends and went into her so-called *adventure* with said friends before the Christmas break.

At January she feels like shes having the time of her life as she always feel happiness and well, some sort of freedom albeit soaked up with endless school requirements most of the time. She feels so good and she thinks that college life would be one of the best chapters in her life.

At February she thinks this sem is so great and how would she explain it.... Like, fan-freaking-tastic. Then she found another set of good friends, one of which is a girl with a small frame but oh so cheerful and could make a good leader,  as the girl thought she is a flirtatious woman (that's her initial impression about her-- as fueled by her used-to-be friends) but turns out to be so kind and approachable.

It was so great until one day the whole class has to perform a dance presentation for their fair the following month and things went downhill from there

(was it really downhill? Lets see)

And here I am updating this blog after half a year when I told myself to update this at least once a month.

It seems like school is continuing to suck the life out of me then

But then it keeps me get intact with my favorite people at the moment so was it a good thing?

And yes I got myself falling in love yet again into these five silly British (plus Irish) boys (or men already?) that is One Direction. hohoho.

And summer is around the corner. yes?

negativity blues

The sad moment when you realize how alone you actually are. No one ever messages you first or texts you first or anything. So it gets to the point where you don’t want to put in the effort with people who don’t put in any effort for you, so you end up spending your life at home, never going anywhere.

Ha ha ha. Thank you tumblr for reminding me how lonely my life is right now. 

Also, thank you to my asshole guy friends for making me feel like I'm the ugliest girl in the world.

The Girl I Know Pt 4/?

Upon entering college, the girl had changed a lot. She is not the type to cry easily anymore. She had been able to gain some confidence and was able to create friendships here and there. She was still crazy as ever and she got herself another inspiration besides the "Rock-Singer-who-has-this-oh-so-wonderful-voice-and-a-sexy-face"

They were four British guys with moptops and attractive faces and voices.

In the first days of college, the girl had her first college crush on her class. He was a good-looking guy with curly hair and a tall frame. So much like the attractive guy. No wonder she was attracted to this new guy. She just reminded her of him so much . 

Her new friends are also aware of her like-ness over this yet another handsome guy. She even drew it once at the back of her new notebook because she just couldn't resist in doing so.

But then the attraction is short-lived because the girl had mistaken the handsome new classmate as gay and besides, he's popular with other girls.

(Did I also mention at that time, he was so in love with a high school friend of his?)

The weeks went by and our heroine became accustomed to college life. And she owe it all to her new found friends: From the 'random classmate' to the one she had always called "Jasmine" to the one she thought she would NEVER be friends with to many others.

And as the weeks flew by she found this intelligent guy from her class so attractive she almost had a crush on him, but it was also short-lived as she thought this guy was boastful as hell.

The semester flew by so fast, just like how the girls feelings toward the attractive guy fades. 

And as the new semester comes, more changes went into the girls life.

The Girl I Know Pt 3/?

The girl, still thinks she was not in love with the attractive guy. She still finds him an ass at times. She doesn't like him, maybe a little crush, but not more than that. Will never go beyond that for sure.

And it never went beyond that.

And after months the girl, the attractive guy, and her friends graduated High School. There are still so many questions floating into the girl's mind, thinking that she might not be able to get over thinking about the guy and his whereabouts.  Her friends still think that she had indeed, fallen in love with him. There are moments that the girl thought "Damn, maybe I did fall into the attractive guy"

But the said thought proved to be wrong  when the girl I know entered college.

Upon entering college, she thought that she wouldn't be able to have friends because she is weird, but then a random new classmate talked to her and it changed her view forever.

Upon entering the room, our heroine was so anxious as to what she would expect on her first day in college. She saw oh so many new faces, each of them with different personalities. She immediately made friends with the "random" classmate. 

As she continues to scan her new surroundings, she saw a little guy. The girl had the urge to laugh because she thought the young man--- who looked so nervous--- had went into the wrong room, the he was a High School freshmen instead.

Little did she know that young guy would change her life forever in one swift motion.

Well, let me start this post with David Cook. Yes, the guy who won American Idol (and my heart) 5 years ago (5 YEARS?! OMG). At first he was not really my type as I root for the "other" David but when he did "Always Be My Baby"? Bang! Here goes my heart.

Of course besides his oh-so-wonderful voice, he had that sexy rocker look too. LOOK AT THAT BEARD UGH LOOK AT THAT SMIRK.

LOOK THERE GOES MY OVARIES. He looks so cute with kids by his side too HELP

He could be so cute like a fucking button too. My goodness.

Or the handsome President in Dream High? He's Bae Yong Joon in real life. AND WHO COULD HAVE THOUGHT HE IS ALREADY 40?!

Of course almost ALL of us are atleast to these four guys: John, Paul, George and Ringo, but besides their badass music, they are indeed looking so freaking handsome too. No wonder our mothers/grandmothers are going ridiculously gaga over them

High school: Is fun in the shittiest ways possible.

When I’m nervous: I walk and walk and walk and my hands are sweating and my heart is pounding. And I tend to bite my nails.

By this time next year: I am maybe applying for our summer OJT. 

My current gripe is: My ever so boastful friend of mine.

I have a hard time understanding: Why do *that* person has to boast about EVERYTHING.

You know I like you when: I feel funny inside when I see you. xD

If I won an award, the first person I would tell would be: my family.

Take my advice: Don't make permanent solutions on temporary problems :)
